“Tubbiona” is an apple that has been cultivated in Agerola since ancient times. It has not very large fruits, it ripens in summer and has a truncated cone and slightly asymmetrical shape. The skin is thin, a green color fading into hay yellow when fully ripe; the pulp is cream white, with a compact and juicy consistency characterized by a flavor that is very particular and aromatic. It lasts for a long time after it has been picked. For its quality, it is still cultivated and in demand on the local market.
