Tracchiulelle (pork ribs) a la meuniere

Ingredients for 4 people

800 g pork ribs
1 cup olive oil,
1 cup white wine
1l tomato sauce
1 onion

 

Preparation

Sauté the pork ribs boiling them in a pan, preferably earthenware, paying attention to brown them in all their parts. Add the onion and when browned pour the white wine and allow to evaporate over high heat. After the wine is evaporated add the tomato sauce (if very thick add 1 cup of water) and cook for about 1½ hours, turning every 20 minutes .
Once you finished cooking serve hot.

The excellent sauce can be used for a pasta dish.
